Antique Rock Crystal that is reverse painted was very popular in the Victorian age and continued for years into the Edwardian era. A careful and painstaking process these domed rock crystal pieces were typically reverse painted with animals or sporting motifs. This pendant which was a stickpin has been converted seamlessly into a striking pendant. Backed in 15KT rosy hued gold with the Prince of Wales feathers heraldic badge painted in white, gold and hint of red this crystal is subtle yet very striking. 17mm diameter. Dimensional from all angles. This pendant would look beautiful around the neck on its own or stacked with other chains and necklaces. A true conversation piece. Not marked but tests 15KT. 4.2 grams.
