Artista biografía Born in 1985 in Wesel (Germany), Tristan Angenendt was regarded early as one of the greatest talents on the guitar in his country. He received his first lessons at the age of 7 with Günter M. Schillings at the music school in Wesel and already won his first guitar competition only one year later. More than 20 prizes in national and international competitions followed until now, including the International Youth Guitar Competition Andres Segovia in Velbert, the International Guitar Competition Frechen, International Guitar Competition Gevelsberg, Koblenz International Guitar Competition Hubert Käppel, International guitar competition Johann Sebastian Bach in Reisbach and Forum Gitarre Wien in Austria. In 2000 he won the 1st prize at the Concours International de Trédrez-Locquémeau in France, in 2001 he was awarded by the Lion s Club as the best up-coming European guitarist. Tristan Angenendt already made his debut as a soloist with orchestra at the age of 12, only one year later he played his first solo recital in Lemgo (Germany). Concerts all over Europe and South America followed. In 1999, only 14 years old, he was accepted at the Music Academy in Cologne to study in the renowned class of Prof. Hubert Käppel. Between 2005 and 2007 he studied at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy with the famous Italian guitarist Aniello Desiderio. Beside this, he took masterclasses with most of the leading guitarists in the world, including Sergio Assad, Manuel Barrueco, Carlo Domeniconi, Zoran Dukic, Eliot Fisk, Konrad Ragossnig, Angel & Pepe Romero and David Russel among others. In 2007 Tristan Angenendt returned to Cologne to complete his studies with Prof. Hubert Käppel. He is currently teaching at the music school in Borken, Germany.
