A pair of opal stones (7.4 mm wide) are used in the earrings, they both have wonderful iridescent fire, my pictures don't do them justice! The earrings are mounted with simple lever back earring wires. The faceted stones are teardrop shaped. The pair measures 1 1/4 inch (3.1 cm) in length. Opal is a birthstone for the month of October.
