CAMISETA MONTREAL MANIC 1981 EN ESPAÑA
Camiseta antigua de los Montreal Manic, equipo activo en la liga de soccer americano (NASL) entre 1981 y 1983, fundado por una franquicia que provenía de los Philadelphia Fury. Cuando la candes Molson Breweries adquirió la franquicia, la trasladó a Montreal y fundó los Manic. Gracias al experto coach Eddie Firmani (ya dos veces campeón de la NASL con los Cosmos y los Rowdies), los Manic se clasificaron a los Play Off en ambas temporadas. Perdieron respectivamente contra los Chicago Sting y los Fort Lauderdale Strikers. A pesar de la gran entrada media en el campo (21.000 espectadores, sólo los Cosmos y los Whitecaps tenían mejores medias), la franquicia estaba en pésimas condiciones económicas y el vicepresidente Jacques Burelle rebautizó el equipo Team Canada. Esta acción provocó el alejamiento de los aficionados independentistas de Quebec y la franquicia se disolvió.
