Decide if you want a proof (digital sketch) of your design to be sent to you to revise before it is printed + shipped. 3. Provide info in the personalization box: (IF ANY OF THIS INFO IS NOT LISTED, Allison will use default colors and use her discretion for lettering) - Floral Color Choice (choose from slide 2) - If no color choice is given, the main listing floral choice will be used - Custom Words - Lettering Color (say color or hex code) - Lettering Style (choose from slide 7) - Background color (say color or hex code) - Want to add something? (*fees will apply) - Any instructions? (i.e. 2024 below quote or in bottom corner) 4. If you choose a proof: - You will receive a digital proof in 1-5 business days through ETSY messenger. You will have up to 2 chances to revise the design. If you do not approve the design in 3 days, we will manually override the approval and ship your topper. Processing time varies up to 10 business days depending on how long it takes for you to approve your design. 5. If you do NOT choose a proof: - Your Grad Cap Topper will be created and shipped off without you seeing the design. Your words are 100% customizable, but florals cannot be changed. Each floral design comes as is and no alterations can be made to the flower/greenery designs. No — this is a printed Grad Cap Topper that you attach to your cap. The Topper features a durable, thick card stock material that you attach to your cap. The actual graduation cap is not included. Standard size of the template is 9.5 x 9.5 inches. WHAT IS THE GRAD CAP TOPPER MADE OUT OF? The Grad Cap Topper is PRINTED on a thick, high-quality card stock. You will place this on your own cap. Just to reiterate, this is a PRINTED Grad Cap Topper. CAN I SEE WHAT MY TOPPER LOOKS LIKE BEFORE SHIPPING? You CAN add a proof of your design for an additional price. If you choose to receive a proof, you will get 2 chances to revise your design. Choosing a proofing option will increase processing time to 7 days. CAN I CHOOSE A FONT? All designs are hand-lettered - meaning there is no “font” used in the making of the design. Allison has a distinct style of lettering that will be used. Please look at listing slide 7 to choose the lettering style that you desire to have. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY GRAD CAP TOPPER TO ARRIVE? Processing times for printed Grad Cap Toppers are 3-10 days (depending on your proof option). No Proofs are 3-5 business days. If you choose to receive a proof, processing time is 5-10 business days. Shipping times will depend on which shipping method you choose -- we highly recommend choosing priority shipping. HOW DOES THE TOPPER ATTACH TO MY CAP? Due to varying button sizes on grad caps, we do not cut a circle in the middle of Toppers to ensure the hole is not too big or too small. Without a universal button size, we cannot guarantee that the hole will fit over your button or not leave a huge gap around it (which we think looks unprofessional). Here is how we suggest attaching the Topper to your cap: 1. Take off the tassel holder button on the top (the button often twists off or can be pulled off with force). 2. Apply a glue dot (provided with order) to each of the 4 corners of your cap (do not take the top adhesive paper yet, only make it sticky at the bottom of the glue dot to stick to the cap first) 3. Line up the edges of the topper with the cap and press down over the metal spike that sticks up the middle. 4. Once the topper is securely placed down over the spike, place the tassel button back on top. Be very gentle). 5. Now take off the top glue dot paper and adhere the corner of the topper onto the glue dot. Continue this around all four corners until the topper is COMPLETELY flush against your cap (there should be NO gap in between your topper and cap). *DISCLAIMER* We cannot guarantee that your cap button will come off. There are numerous types of caps out there. We find that most buttons come off, but in case yours does not, please check first and reach out to use to see what we can do to help. If your button fails to come off, we suggest taking a sharp blade and cut the fabric loose underneath the button. In the last resort, cut a small circle in the middle of the cap to place over the button. CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS: We can only accept cancellations of orders within 24 hours of purchase to receive a full refund. There are processing steps for each order, thus, after 24 hours, we will only be able to give a partial refund. Once sketches are made, there will be a small refund available, but the time spent creating the sketch will need a charge.
