MATERIAL: We use certified Melamine Coated Baltic birch plywood. As the plywood has a melamine coating then it is a lot durable than regular painted plywood products. Dirt will absorb over time into regular painted plywood, but the melamine coated plywood will always be as good as new. The material is hygenic, easy to clean, resistant to abrasion, moisture and fungi. The plywood itself is also moisture resistant and the sides have been treated with transparent wood oil to make the tower as durable as possible. The helper tower is designed based on the basic principle of Montessori pedagogy for developing a child’s independence and involvement in everyday tasks.
