The sets are made using a mixture of nice soft 100% cotton flannel fabrics and sewn with 100% cotton thread. When they reach the end of a very long and useful life, they are completely biodegradable and compostable. Plaid flannels come in a wide variety of texture and thickness, as well as pattern and color. Skinny Sampler: Includes ten pieces in a single layer including 5 feather light woven, 3 ultralight woven (woven flannels have pattern on both sides of fabric) and 2 printed (pattern on one side, blank back) plaid flannel. They are remarkably absorbent and easy to carry. Perfect for hiding in pockets to have one handy each day. Fat Sampler: The traditional Moocowmomma mix including a little bit of everything! Features the full spectrum of flannels, from soft and fluffy feather light to traditional plush yarn dyed flannel. From trim and light for daily pocket all the way up to super thick double layer for use during hot summer months or hard cold season. You will love having a piece for every occasion and need. Set features ten pieces including 7 mixed feather light, ultra light woven, printed plaid, smooth woven, plush woven and then 3 double layer - 1 in printed plaid, feather light and ultra light woven. Cotton flannel is trim and lightweight, yet truly absorbent. The fabric soft, but hardy. It can handle whatever you give it, wash perfectly, fluff up into a soft face refuge and do it again! These washable tissues will come with a care card with easy wash instructions. Each set includes a versatile mix of thickness, layer, weight and brushed texture, with no two the same. You can also choose the thread color for the edge. Each piece is carefully cut to size, then finished using an overlock machine which creates a strong flat, four thread edge (see FAQ if you want to learn more). This special edge is thin, so there is no bulk. As the pieces are washed, they will lose about half an inch as the woven fibers pull together, and brushed flannel fluffs out. This process seals the edges and makes each piece soft, strong and very absorbent. They need about three washes to break in and become fully absorbent, and will get better and better the more they are washed and used.
