It is anti-magnetic and the chrome plated case shines up beautifully. The high polished original crystal protects the easy to read dial. When wound the crown is depressed to start the timer, then to stop the timer, and the third press resets it to 'zero'. Simple & accurate! Attached is a new chain for safety, as you NEVER want to drop these precision instruments. I disassembled, cleaned & oiled the fine Swiss movement.
