ORIGINAL MIXED MEDIA PAINTING THE REALIZATION OF THE SELF AS EN ESPAÑA

The Realization of the Self as Fierce God 2 24 x 36 x.125 inches, mixed media on canvas panel abstract painting. Created 2020, unframed, ships flat packed in box. The culmination of the left hand side of series exploring my burgeoning Buddhist faith. Here in the alternate side of enlightenment one moves past the notions of self as into full view of the Fierce God; beings of destruction, death, and turmoil. In this form one is able to see the necessity to the seemingly malevolent forces of nature and entropy, only to realize the need for all things to experience impermanence and to return from which they were made.
