PUFFIN IN THE SHADOWS OF HOME - ETSY ESPAÑA EN ESPAÑA

Puffins nest for 3-4 months each year, mostly on remote islands from Maine, and northward around the rim of the Atlantic Ocean to the main population in Iceland, then into parts of Scandinavia and southward to Wales, Scotland and Brittany. They nest in burrows which in this case, on Machias Seal Island, can be under large boulders. You can see this puffin peering through vegetation as they contemplate coming out into the sunlight.
