There Namejs ordered to make those rings and gave them to his closest people as a symbol of friendship and trust. The ring was found in excavations on Zemgale (region of Latvia). As a result, Namejs became a symbol the most popular Latvian ring. The four close braids (analogy of four main regions in Latvia) in the design express the solidarity of Latvian nation.
