This Can-Am Maverick X3 is a highly capable rally-raid off-roader, which has competed in several high-profile events, including the Dakar rally, the Andalucia rally, the Rally of Morocco, and Baja events in Hungary, Poland, Spain and Italy. It meets the FIA T4 regulations and is ready to race with all associated documents included, benefiting from a major overhaul by South Racing. Power comes courtesy of a 900cc Rotax ACE (Advanced Combustion Efficiency) turbocharged and intercooled three-cylinder, which can produce up to 195hp (electronically limited to 160hp), connected to a Quick Response System X (QRS-X) CVT automatic gearbox and a Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential. First delivered in Germany, it has since been exported to the Netherlands. The car has a German license plate which was provided from South Racing to ensure that the car can compete in rally-raid competitions without problems. The seller notes that although registration plates are present, it is not currently a road-legal vehicle. The odometer shows 26,531 km. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The Maverick X3 features a 100% chrome-molybdenum steel chassis and roll cage. 14-inch cast aluminium wheels, double A-arm front suspension, and a four-link Torsional Trailing Arm X (TTX) setup at the rear. This example is finished in black with visible carbon fibre, including a carbon roof. Its 14-inch wheels are manufactured by Method Race Wheels, and they are currently wrapped in Tensor tyres. Two spare wheels are mounted at the rear. Equipment includes a sports exhaust, an FIA-compliant South Racing fuel tank, J.Juan brakes, window nets, a three-spoke OMP steering wheel, OMP WRC-R and HTE-R bucket seats, OMP five-point harnesses, a central AiM screen, an FIA-compliant roll cage, Intelligent Throttle Control, Dynamic Power Steering (DPS), aluminium skid plates, Öhlins shock absorbers, a battery cut-off switch and a fire safety system. Accompanying the vehicle will be its owner’s manual, its fuel tank and safety cage certificates, several accreditation and conformity certificates, its FIA Gold technical passport, and a collection of registration documents and invoices. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the bodywork has some damage; the paint is worn on the driver’s door and the original blue plastic can be seen underneath; there are holes in the dashboard to fix navigation devices for a co-driver; the ‘check engine’ light is on, which is due to the custom wiring harness and power distribution module. SERVICE HISTORY A major rebuild was completed by South Racing in February 2023, which included replacement of the driveshafts, front differential assembly, CVT drive belt, spark plugs, engine and gearbox oils, rear uprights and ball joints. Prior to this, the car was serviced in August 2022. SUMMARY This 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 is a highly capable FIA-compliant rally-raid off-roader, which has competed in several high-profile events, including the Dakar rally, the Andalucia rally, the Rally of Morocco, and Baja events in Europe. For sale is this Fiat 128 3P Group2, for hill climb racing or circuit racing. Fiat 128 3P Gr.2 race car with Kugelfischer direct injection. The car was converted by the Hörmann company into a Gr.2 race car in 1976 (new car). Currently, all the necessary FIA / DMSB standards are met, so that you can immediately participate in all motorsport events (1300ETC, Youngtimer, Maxi 1300, hill climb or slalom). The engine and transmission have only run one race and are therefore new. The car will be handed over with slick and rain tyres from Michelin. Technical data: Engine: 1299cc with Mahle humped pistons, racing camshaft, balanced crankshaft, Kugelfischer direct injection, 7mm valves 41mm and 36mm, modified oil pan, etc., with all records such as valve spring tension; axial play of the crankshaft; compression ratio; piston ring clearance etc. etc. so everything is documented. approx. 143 hp, it doesn't get any better than that. One race-used, so new. Engine construction cost approx. €10,000. Gearbox: racing gearbox with long 1st gear 14/33, 2nd gear 16/30, 3rd gear 18/28, 4th gear 19/25, 3rd + 4th gear interchangeable, one race run, so new, with multi-disc lock. Gear ratios: 1st gear 9,000 rpm = 2nd gear 7,100 rpm, 2nd gear 9,000 rpm = 3rd gear 7,500 rpm, 3rd gear 9,000 rpm = 4th gear 7,600 rpm. Currently, a long circuit ratio is installed (190 km/h).
