First make sure the overlay is saved to a known location on your computer. 2. Open your photo (the one you want to add the overlay to) in photoshop. 3. Click File —> Place —> choose the overlay from where you have it saved on your computer 4. The overlay should then appear with a black background on top of your photo 5. In your layers manager (normally on the right hand side of photoshop) click the drop down box (it typically says “normal”) and change it to “screen” - this removes the black background. 6. From there, you can move the overlay (now it is it’s own layer), duplicate it, rotate it, resize it, etc. to work with your specific photo (Photoshop Mix App) 1. Open your photo 2. Click the plus sign on the top right of your photo 3. A pop up comes up at the bottom. Choose image and find the overlay you want to use 4. Once the overlay is showing on your photo, click “blend” at the bottom of the screen 5. Choose “screen” 6.
