Wilson era un cantante dinámico que había cantado para Billy Ward y sus dominó desde 1953 (reemplazó al difunto Clyde McPhatter que fue despedido por Ward) hasta que salió en solitario en 1956. Esta compilación  lo tiene todo, incluidos sus lados finales para Brunswick Records. En 1975, Wilson, de 41 años, apareció en un concierto de rock and roll en Cherry Hill, Nueva Jersey, cuando casi murio de un colapsó en el escenario. Al principio, se pensó en su inconsciencia. para ser parte de su acto (acababa de comenzar 'Lonely Teardrops'), luego la gente se dio cuenta de que era más grave; había sufrido un ataque cardíaco.
