Moderate sound and reverb dampening, creates more of a "thock" Switch Foams - Small squares of thin foam are applied around each and every switch slot in the gasket/tray. Factory lubed switches can use inferior grease/oil and are often lubed inconsistently. Lubing by hand allows me to put the grease precisely where it needs to go for best performance! Films also provide a shim between the switch casings that also improve typing experience and reduce noise.
