Personalization options are available including 3D raised acrylic name/wording (even if some picture examples show painted) and raised acrylic 3D image - unless otherwise requested. All boards are sealed for protection and durability. ** VERY IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING PAINT AND NATURAL WOOD IMPERFECTIONS ** Growth charts are constructed of furniture grade spruce however, as wood is a natural product, each piece WILL have varying knots and imperfections. We have 3 oil based stains and 3 water based paint options to choose from. Please note that paint emphasizes knots and surface textures. It DOES NOT hide or fill these areas. Character in the wood WILL show. There is a listing photo which shows some examples of how knots look on a painted board. Please note that these examples are not exhaustive as each piece of wood varies from one to the next. If you wish to see more examples please message us for photo examples prior to ordering. The oil based stains (grey, medium and dark) provide a more natural look if you are concerned about the knots and texture variations in the wood as the stain accentuates the beauty of the wood instead of covering it like paint does. By choosing a PAINT option, you are acknowledging that you are aware and accept that your board will have varying knots and imperfections as described above. We try to showcase variations in our photos but we are not able to capture every possibility. Please contact us with your preferences and request photos, if you are concerned about this. • There is a swatch photo on the listing to show the different stain and paint options. As wood is a natural product, shading may vary slightly from board to board. Please also keep in mind that screen settings on your phone or computer can have an impact the color you are seeing. • Growth charts measure 6ft x 5.5 inches x 1 inch. They are sanded and stained by hand. All boards are sealed for protection and durability. •The numbers begin at the 6-inch mark, to allow for baseboards or carpet. Since growth charts are hung on the wall, they are not stained on the back. • For safety purposes we provide screws and recommend screwing the growth charts at the top and bottom into a stud in your wall. This keeps little ones from pulling the board off the wall and onto themselves. If you prefer not to drill into the wall we have found that velcro strips can also be used as a hanging option. - SHIPPING - Made-to-order items are securely shipped, and typically arrive within 6 business days once shipped. Please keep in mind that the final printed colour may not be identical to the colour on your proof. DELIVERY Delivery in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland: ● Standard delivery: Royal Mail / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 3-8 working days. ● Tracked: Royal Mail Tracked / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 2-5 working days. ● Express: Royal Mail Special Delivery / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 1-3 working days. International delivery: ● Customs - When your shipped item reaches your country it will go through customs to be checked if you need to pay duties and VAT on the imported item. You will be contacted by the shipping carrier if you need to pay any duties or VAT and how to pay them before you can receive your item. As a seller, we cannot pay any applicable charges for you. Please check your government's website for up to date details. ● Please provide a delivery contact telephone number when ● We typically use the shipping carriers we UPS and Fed Ex but choose the best option for your item and the quickest carrier available to us at the time of shipping. The delivery aim is approximately 6 working days after dispatch, depending on your location. Please add the item to your cart and check the cart page for the estimated delivery time. All international deliveries include a tracking number, and their position can be tracked fully once it has been exported from our country, which is usually 2 - 4 business days after dispatch.
