Process of Making Marble Inlay 1. We are inlaying semiprecious stones in three different colors of marble White Marble,Black Marble & green marble. 2. The Marble used to inlay the semiprecious stone comes from city of Makrana, Rajasthan India. 3. First we cut the marble in different shape example Round,Octagonal,rectangle,oval & square shape. 4. After cutting the marble we paint the surface of marble with Hina(red Color) so we can sketch the geometry on the surface of Marble. 5. With the Help Of emery wheel we cut,polish & shape the semiprecious in different forms of flowers,buds,leafs & stems all the cutting of the semiprecious stones are manually cut by the artisans. 6. After cutting the semiprecious stones we assemble them to complete the motif & then the semiprecious stones are placed on the surface of marble so we can trace them on the surface of marble to make the exact size of the cavities once the stones are traced we remove the stones from the surface of marble & then manually we chisels the marble with the diamond chisels & tungsten carbide chisels once the cavities are completed we place the semiprecious stone in the cavities to check the depth of the stones. 7. When we are fully sure that the stone fits well in the cavities we use special kind glue to fix the semiprecious stones into the marble. 8. After completing the inlays into the marble we first rub the surface of marble with sandstone & then we polish the surface of marble with sandpaper which brings the natural shine on the surface of marble & to the semiprecious stone & we use wax polish to make the surface shiny. 9. Most interesting expect of this pietre dure(marble inlay with hard stone) all the designs are made by the artisans are purely an imagination of artist once made they cannot make another one exactly the same it will look similar but will not be the same. 10. OUR DESIGN PROCESS ● DESIGN - After receiving your order and the details required to create them, we will work on the design within the processing/dispatch times shown on the listing or your purchases page. ● PROOF - As soon as your proof image is ready we will send the digital proof image for you to check over. This is typically a few days before the dispatch date if you have not chosen to add on a Rush Dispatch Option. ● REVISIONS - Included in the purchase price are two rounds of revisions to wording or minor changes to the design. Additional changes or significant design changes will be charged an additional fee. ● APPROVAL - Once you have approved your proof image we will prepare the design for printing or provide the digital file. Without approval of the proof, we are unable to print/finalise your order. Orders will be cancelled if we do not hear back from you with your approval of the proof image. We will honour the dispatch date if proof approval is received in good time, however, the dispatch date may be later than shown if approval is received later than normal. ● DISPATCH - Orders will be dispatched on time, or sooner if you have already agreed to an earlier dispatch or purchased the rush option. DELIVERY Delivery in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland: ● Standard delivery: Royal Mail / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 3-8 working days. ● Tracked: Royal Mail Tracked / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 2-5 working days. ● Express: Royal Mail Special Delivery / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 1-3 working days. International delivery: ● Customs - When your shipped item reaches your country it will go through customs to be checked if you need to pay duties and VAT on the imported item. You will be contacted by the shipping carrier if you need to pay any duties or VAT and how to pay them before you can receive your item. As a seller, we cannot pay any applicable charges for you. All international deliveries include a tracking number, and their position can be tracked fully once it has been exported from our country, which is usually 2 business days after dispatch.
