What activities does the house offer? There is a blackboard on the roof as well as shape inserts. Sides offer for example zippers, touch light, switch, alarm clock, motor labyrinth, buttons and of course windows and doors with locks. We have tested and confirm that constant opening and closing, throwing toys inside out and hiding inside is a great fun. The House is big enough so it can accommodate multiple kids at once. Up until the age of 4 the children can comfortably hide inside the house as well. How does it develop your child? As you can learn in our house tour, where all the activities are shown in detail, the wooden BusyKids House develops creativity, logical thinking, and sensory skills. Your kid will, while playing, develop fine motor skills and strengthen the eye – hand connection. More difficult elements like buttons or zippers the kid will learn concentration and patience. The wooden BusyKids House is a meaningful wooden toy inspired by Montessori pedagogy which contrary to many plastic, flashing and loud tod truly helps your kid to develop further and faster. It fits well not only to families, but is also a great investment for kindergartens, kid groups and maternal centres. Every single piece is handmade except the laser cutting which is about 2% of the process. The House is made of 6 stand-alone activity boards so if there is not enough space for the whole house you can always use single board. At setup each player is dealt a Job card which lists their free time, income, a special ability that they possess and their Slack goal. Players are also dealt five Life cards. The space directly in front of a player is their Room, where cards will be played during the course of the game. Slack can be represented using any available chit or counter, but every player begins with a Slack total of zero. Players take turns as follows: -Draw Life cards until they have six in hand. (NOTE: Some Jobs vary this to five or seven cards.) -Make "variable" rolls. Some Job cards have variable free time or income; their values for this turn are decided in this phase (rolling a 1-3 gives them the first amount; rolling a 4-6 gives them the second). If there are any "uninvited" people in a player's room, he or she may also roll to "get rid of" them (by rolling a 4, 5 or 6) and either send each such person to another room or discard them (if they cannot be played to any other room). -If any of the player's in-hand Life cards are green Person cards, they may roll to "call" the person to their room.
