The pattern is worked with 3mm (US: C-2 or D-3) and 3.5mm (US: E-4) crochet hooks (or the sizes you need to make a compact crochet fabric with the given yarn). I offer lovely natural bamboo crochet hooks by Pony and Whitecroft if you'd like to try them or are giving this kit as a gift. The finished bird is approximately 8cm or 3⅛" long. The carded wool stuffing is a natural product. It is scoured and clean but may still include the odd bit of straw or leaf. The kit is plastic-free and designed to be as sustainable as I can possibly make it.
