Royal Copenhagen began producing these Christmas Commemorative Plates in 1908. The Cobalt Blue Porcelain Christmas plate 1991 is a picture of a choir in church. The plate is titled Lucia Fest, The Festival of Santa Lucia which is printed on the back. The plates are produced in limited quantities only in the year listed on the plate. The back of the the plate has the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over the three Wavy Lines and the initials of the painter.
